I had a 5 roller D2 with 13” track pads . It had a 2 A dozer . that is wide as you could go without hitting the c frame on the dozer .

Hi everyone i got a hold of an old d2 for myself and i think she's no bad, you will have to let me know what you all think. In future i will be posting for parts and advice so thanks in advance for all your help. The machine is a 1948 d2 5u with extended undercarriage.

Congratulations! That unit with extended track frames is unique. Early serial number due to the pony (donkey) exhaust location?

Yep shes 5u1912 uf anyone has any histor in her id definitely be interested! Couple of things off the top of my head, thers slight lift in pony pulley, floor plates are missing beneath brake pedals, water temp guage doesnt appear to work and i think the steering clutches need adjusted. Is there workshop/ service manuals about for doing basic maintenance? I think the radiator only has water in it and not coolant, ideally id like to fix that before winter

If you can't get coolant into it, just drain it. The pony water jacket blows out very easily in a frost. Nice unit! We're going to need a video with walkaround and pulling. That scenery looks like NZ
