Hello,
I am in the process of removing the Pony on my D7.
Follow directions and removed most of the bolts so far I left the 2 in the clutch housing for now.
Does the belly pan have to be dropped? So far removed 7 bolts for the Pony attachment to the main engine block. I am sure I am missing some.
Page 22 of the service manual it says remove the 2 cap screws that hold the transmission housing to the diesel engine fly wheel.???
This is a D73T early SN 3T19409
Attached some pics
Thank you. GvK

Since it does mention anything about the Bely pan, i think it can be staying on.
Just was able to remove two more cap screws bottom part of the Pony.
Will keep plugging away at it.

Pony Removed.
13 Bolts later. But will be all worth the effort to have a nice operating clutch again.
Cheers,

Would you mind indicating which of the bolts in the picture above you didn't have on your unit - that'll be useful information for the next guy.

So I did not have the two flange bolts. However the diesel engine flywheel housing had the holes with treads.
But my transmission housing did not have bolt holes.

Quick update on the clutch replacement.
The only place that seemed to have the Plate 2A2358 was Fresno Tractor. Even came in the original box what was super cool.
www.fresnotractor.com/Home.html
Ask for Roman 1(559)269-8995
Also after I bought the whole disk, I found the friction material on eBay a chap in the UK had them available, so I bought 4 just to have.

As to an update on the D6 318 block I have been looking for, I ended up contacting
www.ihmusedparts.com/home They had a 1H5650 block with standard standard crank for a very good price including shipping.
Anyhow just some information.
Cheers, GvK
