Lucky me has been working the past week in the resto hanger for the National Museum of the Airforce in Dayton OH. I once spent a very enjoyable morning in the museum. My girlfriend was a good sport, for a while!, but finally she came back around to prod me on and I had to speed up my tour.

What's your job there if you don't mind sharing?

D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time:D

Being a machinist in the USAFR, I was lucky to get a two week assignment. A group of us are from the 315th AW Charleston, SC. We are working on a cosmetic resto of the B-17 Memphis Belle, most notably and a few others.
