Major fire disaster Northern California

As many are aware, it has been a terrible fire season in California. The latest fires near Chico have exploded to other counties as well.
From all indicators, the fire was deliberate, and the person is behind bars already.
The concern from myself and fellow members are the many folks forced to evacuate and flee the path of destruction.
I hope that fellow members Greg Shandel of Forest Ranch, CA and Floyd Green of Cohasett, CA (and others) made it out okay. If anyone has had contact with them, please let us know.
Prayers for everyone affected by these fires. JM

Cohasset is within the fire perimeter according to watch duty. The access road was closed early on. I have heard firefighters were able to make it in there. I have heard the town was destroyed, I have also heard only a few buildings were lost. Residents were able to evacuate via forest service roads. Little information at this point. Forrest Ranch had survived as of last night.

Thank you for the update 8C 361. Greg and Vicki are safe as far as we know, as they live on the south side of 32 for what its worth. His place had flames pretty close from the Paradise fire years ago.
Have not heard from many; crossing our fingers for their safety. JM

For those interested -

www.fire.ca.gov/
PARK FIRE
You can navigate to much information here - there is a large section of photos.

This is some very rough country, many places with no roads or access.
At one time I tried to locate the Green Property on Google Earth, as far as I know everything in that area was within the footprint ot this terrible fire.

Lassen National Park is Closed and evacuated.

Prayers for all involved and impacted.

I got an email from Floyds wife, they are OK, and I believe their house is OK, but there is potentially extensive fire damage where the Cat parts were, no idea yet how much has been lost.

Thank you Mike. Greg Shandel has been on fire duty with some of his dozers and safe as well. Only 12 percent containment so far. JM
