Painting help for a TWENTY

More

Greetings: I am trying to tidy up the TWENTY that now resides here. It was "restored" and painted grey by the previous owners; However, I wanted to make it look proper were the grill bars supposed to be painted RED only, or the grill frame as well? Being grey only doesn't quite cut it for me, as it looks too plain!
I will scrounge up a can of red enamel and touch up the lettering as well as add a few minor touches to make it "pop" a little bit.
No worries of adding any chrome or stainless to the girl, which btw I named "Neecy" after Brett Atkinson's SIL. I just worry his wife might want to "doll it up" some more. JM

Chrome and stainless always look good on the inside of the fuel tank and other parts of the fuel system. Correct shade of paint on the outside.

I believe it was gray from factory, but I like the little touch of red as well. I’d stick with the bars red and frame gray if it was my tractor, kind of like how 22s and d2s have black bars. But my opinion isn’t worth a hill of beans, do what fits the tractor. I’ve never felt regret sticking by that mentality when it comes to tractors.

red and grey works well just like yellow and black. do just the bars first and see how it looks you can always add the extra later.

Thanks everyone! I have been perusing the internet as well, and got some ideas. I will add a touch of red to her and take it from there. Thanks again. JM
