Help getting information

I’m looking for information for my t35 (original if I could wish it, but I’ll settle for anything for the moment) I’ve already called my go to book guy and he didn’t have that particular holt manual. I looked in master catalog book and found a publishing number. PL128. Is Midland Press still an active company for ordering literature? I’ve tried using the Acmoc library but it just sends me to the join page which is funny because I’d think I’m still a member. Can anyone see if the library has any info on a Holt t35? Or how to view the Library. I’d really appreciate it.

I don't see any T35 documentation in the library. In theory, you should be able to click on that Library button up the top. What do you see when you click there?

SoCalCatMan. Check your Spam Box LOL.. I replied Back at You.

I have a couple of Original Holt Manuals in the Cat-Cave Fault. One of them was Originally supplied with the Machine I purchased from the Stl Ticking Museum collection in CA. The Cat-Cave website Technical Section should be of great help.

Question Does Anyone know the correct Holt Green Paint Code ? I am Sure Don D. used the correct shade of Green,

Catman I have pictures of the original paint codes. Lorry Dunnings article on the t35 is really informative. It gives information by serial # groupings. Correct seats, paint, air cleaner type and placement.

SoCalCatMan, That's the Original Carb from the Holt T-35 the Museum started to restore the Holt in Green, As you can see from them sprockets and tracks, this machine is in very good condition Hence part of the museum collection. The 2nd Holt T-35 should also be in green paint.

Thank you very much for providing the information above. Nice to Hear of another Holt T-35 in Green in the UK. Could you please inform the Gentlemen in Canterbury England, listed in your information found. Copy my photos above if you want too, That Catman has a Dozzen Caterpillar 2 Tons and Two Holt T-35's in Green in the Cat-Cave Collection near Manchester England. With a Total of 60 Imported Pre 1936 Antique Caterpillar Machines, Mainly Wide Gauge Tail Seat Gas Machines Including the 1st Best 25 to be Exported from USA.

Just goes to show what is out there in your own back yard if you know where to look. Our Industrial paint supplier can mix to Fed Standard Paint Codes. I have helped out many UK Caterpillar collectors with obtaining Industrial enamel still has the "Good Stuff" in the paint, Hence Industrial use only. Not for general public to purchase.

Don.D. sent over a couple of cans of the green paint to complete the rest of the machine. All the Tin Work already in green paint and wrapped up. Its PPG I will need to look at the cans to check the Code Number..

We have the Instruction Plate. HOLT 2 Ton in Stock. Also the C.L. BEST 25, and C.L. BEST 40 Brass Plates in Stock. Our Minimum order quantity for Brass Plate production is 30 off, so with 30 brass plates for a Best 25 and only about a dozzen known to exist. I have actually used a couple of brass plates and cut up into Main and Big End Shims.

Photo of the Instruction Plate to Finish off your restoration in new Green Paint.
