I made progress yesterday and rescued and relocated my non running D8. It's been a challenge from the start. It didn't have any tracks on it. Over a period of time, I've jacked it up, dragged tracks under, joined them up, and finally yesterday had an opportunity to get it moved before winter arrives and I lose access again.

Hi, D8Dude.
GREAT stuff. Thanks for the photos
BUTTTT, those photos do raise a 'kwestyun': Is that machine radio controlled 'coz I don't see an operator's station????????
That aside, it looks to be quite the project - I hope it all goes smoothly for you going forward.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Deas,
Haha, not radio controlled. I'm aware that I still have quite a project in front of me, but I think I can make something of it. I am in possession of all the missing parts. The operators station and transmission cover were removed years ago to replace a gear that was split in half. Surprisingly, even though it's been stored outside, the internals are still clean.
