Check out the D2 Sales Brochure in the library. If you are not familiar with the library search system just select "sales leaflet" under document type and "D2" under equipment type.
I purchased this 1952 brochure on eBay and couldn't believe the mint condition of it when it arrived. The spine staples are even shiny.
While most of the 24 pages are about the D2 there are some pages devoted to the other models and even the attachments available.
These are a small sample.

I just read the whole thing. It was clearly written by the Add Department, but has lots of interesting information. For many years I have said that for a small family farm, buying a D2 in the late 30s and with proper maintenance and a good dry shed, it is a lifetime machine. The cost of keeping it in good shape must be much lower than the cost of a new similar size machine and the new one probably wont last 1/4 the time that a Cat will. Got to love old yellow iron. Grant.
