Hello everyone. I'm trying to replace a torque converter oil cooler (I think it's stamped 5s2825...but maybe 5s3825) for a 10k3302. Having a devil of a time finding one online. Reliableaftermarketparts has them for the 3306 (5s3414) which looks similar, but I'm not certain it's a match. y'all have any ideas where I should look, or whether or not that part number is interchangeable? Many thanks!

Hi Dan, jump on machinerytrader.com they have a few on stock listed under 5S3825, they have picture on some, I don't know your location but it should be a start, if the number superceeds machinery trader will show it further down the list or pages as you go, this is a help to find a newer number that could be closer to home. Cheers Jamie

First of all, I big thank you for pointing me to Machinery Trader. Did not know about that one and it didn't come up for me in my searches. Old magnet, the picture shows a different part number than 6807...but do you think they could be interchangeable?

Hi Dan, the number on the part your picture is the casting number and it is not always the same as the part number.

I bought the PDF version of it from Jensales yesterday but it listed the part number as 5S3414...but had the serial number range as 10k1--10k2809 & 10k2813...so out of my serial number range. Confusing.

I personally prefer original Caterpillar manuals. They have clearer pictures and print. You can usually find the original manuals on eBay.
I'm currently scanning the Caterpillar service manual for the D6C for the ACMOC library. I'm a little over 1/2 way through and it will be done soon. There is much useful info in the library and it is constantly expanding. Access to the library and the ACMOC magazine will be available if you join the club as a paying member. I think you will enjoy it.

Quite a few of these models on Machinery Trader. Would y'all trust a new aftermarket from Turkey, over a used CAT, for about the same money? Or pony up for a new or rebuilt for about 3X the cost?
