Im wondering what a new clutch disk face thickness is so I can compare it to mine now that I have it out.Mine still has grooves but how much has worn down?. Also looking for an answer on my transmission on whether I can just remove the input shaft that has broken gear splines on it by itself or do I have remove the other shafts as well?

Wet clutch or dry? I have never seen a wet clutch run out of lining. I still have one the drive teeth are just little points left.
There is not enough room to pull top shaft out until the transmission is removed from tractor. It is close but short by a inch or so.

In the interest of continuity, I would suggest that you find the original thread you started on this topic (titled “D6-9U Transmission Issue”) and add to it instead of starting a completely new thread on the same topic. Then everyone can see the whole backstory in one place and more easily be up to speed for any additional questions you may ask.
Cheers! 🙂
