Does anybody out there know what radiator 4F7965 (top tank) fits. It looks like it might be somewhere maybe D4 size. I would rather find out what I have before listing it for sale. The top, bottom, and sides were buried in the leaves next to a wooden crate that when opened produced a brand new core that looks to fit the above mentioned items. I will check this for sure before listing these items. Also, does anybody out there know where a part # might be located on this new core?

What might that new core in the crate be worth? A guy is coming over today to look at it but I have NO idea what it might be worth let alone the sides and bottom castings included.

The short answer is what the buyer is willing to pay, but when I recored my 5j d2 it cost $900 and its just an automotive style radiator with brass top and bottom tanks.

PNW Hillbilly was able to buy a new replacement for his. I believe it cost thousands. They don't hardly make them like that anymore.

We did open up the crate and did find that the core had one repair. had a few dings but good shape overall. Tubes perfectly clean like it had been repaired and rodded and crated for return a long time ago. Sold it for much less that suggested but I believe both parties are happy. Just getting started. Much still to sell.
