Hi, junkyard.
Dunno if it has occurred to you yet or not but it does appear to me looking at your photos from around 12,000 miles away and then into my 'crystal ball' that either a chain saw or an axe - or both - might figure prominently in your not too distant future.
"Kwestyun': were all those 'pockets' on the blade of the first one somebody's idea of fitting a rake?

Yes that’s our version of a root rake or stick rake. Nothin like the ones down under. Those things are massive!!

Photos of the “unknown” look to be another 17a judging by the manifold shape, pony setup, and pony engine control box on the operators station. And it looks to have a turbo so it’s likely anywhere from the middle of the serial range to the end.
