D4d 83j service meter lens. was created by Baker1184

My soda can style service meter is leaking fuel out of its lens. I order a lens kit 1p4923 but the screw pattern was to narrow and it had corse thread screws. On my hour meter the screws are almost to the edge of the lens. Does anybody know the correct parts number for the lens kit for my meter.

I believe it has a d330c engine?

As near as I can tell that service meter takes a Kit #8S8199 consisting of window, gasket and screws.
To solve the leakage you need to replace 8S5573 seal on the service meter drive shaft.
Are you seeing any leakage (dripping) from the transfer pump tell tale drain line?If so might want to change the two 4S7756 seals as well.
