I need to know year of manufacture for D8 dozer 8R9605. I've got two D8Rs for sale (or trade for excavator) and I need a date for the "For Sale" add. At 72 yrs. I'm just too old to operate these beasts any longer (Located near Chico Ca.). As long as I'm at it, for my own curiosity, what would year of manufacture be for my D6 2H7063WSP? And, what does the "WSP" stand for? I have a spare block 2h5879W in my parts, why just the "W'?   I will be posting the D8s for sale and many many parts on the for sale/wanted threads ASAP

Welcome! I want to say that I believe you had some stuff posted on FBMarketplace at one time? I am located in Yuba City, but have a satellite yard in Chico.
I will share this with some friendly CAT folks that like hanging out at the Patrick Ranch Museum.
I always thought "skinning" Cats kept everyone young! JM

I did try selling some parts earlier but they were not arranged. I was spending a half day looking for a five dollar part. I've spent some time arranging things and its getting better. still a lot of work to do. Finding part #s is a real pain. Many of the orig. boxes disintegrate when opened.
