Hi, CTS.
You speak for yourself. I spent over 58 years operating and 5 years on wheat farms before that. In ALL of the 58 plus years, I NEVER had a REAL job. I was always a "big kid inna BIGGGG sandpit being paid to play with other people's toys."
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Hi, juiceman.
You just worked for the wrong people.. There is an old saying, "Never work for family or friends." It'z bin around long enough to suspect that there might be sum kinda reason for it.

You and me to.
Operating was mostly fun, even as I had to pay the bills. But then the worry as things broke. Then back to figuring if I went the other way around the hill could get a field done a bit quicker, or beat the incoming rain. I sure did not have a phone to contend with,
well still don't as the cell rides in the pickup turned off
until I want to bother somebody.

Yes, boys and girls, I long for the "old days" (which wasn't THAT long ago). Sit back, mixing the steering levers, engine barking and just a little bit of dust to taste some dirt. NO cell phone(s) NO distractions, just the sweet sound of the engine. I remember my brother being kind to me, as he would stop by with warm can of Pepsi for me and one of those infared cooked Rel's red hot burritos from the corner bar/store. I think he was on his way fishing again, and didn't want to catch me sleeping under a tree; maybe following up, as my dad would tell mama Gee that I did not earn my keep... hahaha, all funny now! It is no wonder they did not want me to get my drivers license, likely afraid I would become a pickup farmer too!
Hey Deas: I wonder if Angelo really just perfected his "PhotoShop" skills... Hmmm? JM
