Had these old tin fenders for years and decided they either need to be useful or move along, so a light workshop table is what they became.
Edit to add that I just realised that in the photo the diesel tank on the back of my pickup belonged to a late model D4D at some point.

I like it too, always handy to have another table, work bench etc....
-not so pretty that you have to be careful to not scratch it....(watch the paint)
-Red Green would be very proud of you Glum! (Canadian fixer upper)
always dropping GOLD, all you have to do is just pick it UP !

Great idea Glum: If I had a set of fenders that nice, they would be on my tractor! LOL. Seriously, that inspires me to re-purpose some parts here as well, rather than being in a pile outside collecting rust. Shoot, I knew I should have saved my set of heavy plate fenders from a D-2. Oh well. I think member Ralph K. near me, has a pair of D2 or D4 side tanks set up in the back of his pickup truck for fueling as well. One diesel and one gas? Time to brainstorm. JM
