Yeah, my grandfather kept it running and used it all the time he ran his lumber mill. My dad worked on it enough he was able to get it started and drove it up onto a vehicle trailer in 2009. Unfortunately, he never moved it once he drove it off onto his own property when my grandfather died at the venerable age of 94 years old!

Again, I do not want to sell this as scrap metal. What is a reasonable price to put it up for sale on this website?

the only honest answer is what your willing to receive and their willing to pay.

if it doesnt run but turns over and is otherwise complete it still worth a bit

if its siezed and but complete its worth a bit more than scrap
if its not complete and is siezed then scrap price.

I think key word is "useful" machine as Deas put it, if it goes to a home and sits in a shed for years it is still useful to the owner, as admiring the age and what it has done in its past, at least you have some history of its life, this is interesting to know the story most of all, my 2 sleep in the shed on wood, they see the sun when doors are open and I think of my part of looking after them, yes they both run drive and dig a hole in back yard at times to up set the neighbours then go back to sleep for a while again.

Yes Busso20, that is what I meant. I just don't want it to be melted down as scrap, it deserves better.
