What are the proper dimensions for the starting bar for a Cat Sixty?  See lots of different bars in videos I have watched. Thanks, Mike

Hi, Mschwartz.
I don't have any 'exact' specifications but I have seen them as short as about 15 inches and as long as about 3 feet. It may be a matter of personal preference as much as 'specifications'.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

The SIXTY TRACTOR Parts Catalog, form # 3757 lists the motor starting bar as part number 224 - A.

It is 28.0" long with a nominal diameter of 1.0".

I personally use a 24" piece of 3/4" iron pipe - it has a slightly larger outside diameter (1.07") and takes up a little of the wear in the holes in the flywheel.
