Hello,
My service manuals do not include any information about the hydraulic system. Could anyone help me identify these cylinders and even better a link to an online retailer that sells the seal kits.
Thanks in advance

That looks to be a hardnose from the 8u,9u D6 era. Looking at the parts book picture closer, Cat already had the hydraulic blade in the 4r,5r era. Or at least expected it to be retrofitted to them. The dozer blade has its own parts book as well as another book for the hydraulics.

the hydrualics is often listed in a separate book. look at the hydrualic pump/tank for its serial number tag then you can get the right book.

Yes trainkid88, that's right. Except in this case, the hydraulic cylinder parts are found in the BLADE parts book. You practically need a library of parts books for a complete bulldozer! Speaking of which, I hope to scan this book for the library at some time.
These parts might be available as the 8U/9U D6 used the same cylinder.

why cant they keep the same formula. but then the later and larger machines were primarily designed as earth moving gear so it sort of makes sense instead of a book for the hydraulics and one for the blade have a combined book.
