The 9U is a 1959 model, still a pony motor start and never had a turbo added. It has had a dry air cleaner and a cab installed. Currently slobbering out the stack and popping or missing on number 2 cylinder. Hoping to get it back to a close to stock original tractor. The 1965 D6B I don’t know much about, purchased as they were getting ready to cut up for scrap. Runs good, hard to turn but maybe there is still a little adjustment left in the brakes.  Looked to have a pretty new turbo and my other B has a pretty weak. Need to service it and see what I have, might be ok. A few pics to share. Mike

Does the 9U have a generator and alternator?

I will grab a better picture but I think you are seeing where they made an alternator drive from the original generator housing.

Nice catches. The 9U and 44A are some of my favorites for disking. Glad to see you saved them from the scrap man. Keep on sharing please! JM
