Replaced D2 precleaner bowl 5F6658 - gasket needed?

Hi team, I fitted the new plastic pre-cleaner bowl but I see that it's loose in the clamp. Consulted the parts catalog and there's no gasket. I'm wondering if I have the clamp upside down (not near tractor currently) but also wanted to check with folks if their bowl is tight in the clamp?

Cheers,
Neil

O ring should work.

Thanks, I wonder why that doesn't show in my parts catalog (for the D4 that uses the same cup).

a bit of gasket paper will also work to take up some of the gap.

Thanks - I know that I can put in some gasket or an o-ring, but my question was whether folks' cup was loose or tight even without a gasket. Trying to figure out if my clamp is not right.

Neil, my D2 5U16XXX air filter bowl is definitely tight, it has the rubber O ring
All the best

Thanks team, what I'm wondering is if there is supposed to be a gasket/o-ring in there, why I don't see one on the diagram. I know I can put something in there no problem, but my OCD likes to have things just like they are in the diagram so if it doesn't show a gasket, I'm thinking that something in the cap or the clamp is not correct. I know, overthinking it, but that's what you get from an office worker : )
