I have submitted my scans of this Serviceman’s Reference Book to the ACMOC library. Please read on, this book contains much information that applies to tractors of many sizes and models. This D7 book was printed in February, 1944. That was 4 months before D-Day and World War II and victory was not in sight yet.
The people that wrote this book went to extremes providing all necessary information, but also illustrating how to build-it-yourself tools when possible. If you are not a paying member there is enough information in this book to more than justify the price of full membership. The library is constantly growing also.
The last picture is the manual I will scan and submit to the library later this year.

Wow, Craig, this is fantastic and I cannot express enough gratitude for what you do for the club, it is truly appreciated. Your point on just one manual being worth the price of admission is spot-on, the statement is absolutely true. I know that from personal experience.
There is no other place to get this information other than searching and buying them (if you can find them). I know of CAT employees that use the club library when customers come into the dealerships and need parts for older machines. This information does not always exist in the CAT system.
The quality of these materials is exceptional and i know it take a real time investment to do it right.
A BIG Thank you.

I don't want to leave out Daryl, John, and Tony - all invest a lot of time into building the library for us all.

Hi Kurt and All,
I am back from Thailand and just picked a couple of tubs of book (o&m manuals plus hydraulic control parts books) to start scanning again.

that should keep you busy and out of the other half's hair for quite some time Darryl.
it would be a lot of work but what about a conglomeration of all the drawings for workshop made tooling. yes some tooling such as pullers and spring compressors for the track gear are best left to store bought gear or the experienced mechanical engineer due to the forces involved

Daryl,
That is exciting, and all I can say to you is THANK YOU for all your behind-the-scenes work on the Library. What you and the other members that work on it have created a resource that is truly unique in the world and of great value to all of us.
