Been there, Done that. Looks like he failed to take the choke off as it is running awful rich.

Where to start with the dangerous practices.
Nothing to be added that I have not said before in other threads.

RE: Choke
If it has the original style carburetor, there is no choke, most probably the float level is way too high

Notice the clutch cover is missing, Those thermoid couplings are bullets waiting to fly off too.
