Question:
I'm in the process of bolting the fuel filter, injector pump and governor back on my 1946 D6 5R, everything was off of it when I bought it.I s there a seal of some type where it comes out from the front? My parts book does not show one, just checking to be sure before everything's put back together. Thanks.

yes there is a seal for the injector pump drive and the fuel lift pump. if they leak you can blow the motor as it will let fuel into the crankcase. best to replace them now as its apart already.

Yes, I'm putting new seals on both of the areas you mentioned. I don't think the actual accessory shaft has a seal where it sticks out in the front where the bearing is according to my manual. Thanks.
