D2 5J adding external fuel filter

Need to know the thread/fitting type and size on the fuel line, (and dia.), inlet to transfer pump, 5J- fender tank. Adding a canister CAV delphi filter. Want to make up in advance tractor is up in woods on the job. Thanks for any replies Joe Van.

Don't know about the D2 but my D6's are all 1/2" lines.I think even the D8's are only 1/2 as well.

The fuel line is 1/2'' ID. Original was steel. The fitting at the transfer pump is 7/8'' x 14 tpi straight pipe thread... not tapered pipe thread. You can use a -10 O ring boss fitting into the pump, and your choice of fuel line or hose from there.

Thanks guys, I thought I remembered it being a straight thread, could not remember if there was a seat or 0 ring, I was pretty sure on the 1/2" steel line. I don't like using rubber due to varmints chewing on it. Thanks again. Joe Van.
