T2 Trackson numbers was created by mog5858
I pick up this parts tractor as it’s was a 5 roller U/C. Now looking closer I find it to be a T2 shovel I believe. The only number I can find is on the motor as 5 U 8742. The back end dose not seem to have a serial number tag like most cats wondering if they put somewhere els. Casting date to 1951

Interesting how the drawbar is just hanging there without any support from the back of the case. Not having been around many D2's, is it just the lack of the plates for the drawbar that is making it look odd to me. Or are the finals a none standard piece because of the Trackson modification.

I do have draw bar parts that come one of the basket of parts. but i going to say that the draw bar is too short to use the parts I got. I would have thought it would needed to be longer as I see some T2 shovels' with a big square counter weight on the back cover where say a P.T.O. would go. have to check in to where or not the final drives are stander.

The final drives would be standard, the only modifications to the basic tractor would be the long track frames, hard bar and associated parts, the drawbar brackets would have to be removed to attach the counterweight, but I do not see any provision to remount the drawbar plate to be able to pin the drawbar in the T2 parts catalog. The whole T2 assembly just bolted on to a long track frame D2.
Upon closer looking at the parts catalog, the counterweight may have mounted over the drawbar brackets and not have affected it at all.

thanks for the info Josh. the counter weight is held on by the 2 big bolts at 3-9 o'clock up by the P.T.O cover plate

It appears to me, that the the drawbar brackets would go on with studs, then the  7-6672 nuts, then the counterweight with the long studs and bolts.
