What’s the favoured repair for a wallowed out steering clutch rod. I was planning on boring out and making a bush to fit. Any other preferred options by the experts out there?

Regards,

Tony

What machine? Sometimes we replace with a good/used take off. Seen some folks clean it up nicely and use a high quality 2 part epoxy, and resize (I'm leery myself).
How about drilling to next size? Good luck to you. JM

Cut it off, "v" the rod and weld a new end on.

you could use devcon epoxy and then fit a new bushing. you could bore it to a size and make a custom bush from bronze or brass. or like rome suggested make a new end and weld it on. all of those methods would work.

you could also build up the wear with bronze and then re machine to size.

Build up the worn part with a few welds, then machine/ream/file to size
