I dont know how high that bucket lifts, but you might want to keep the canopy long enough to decide if it protects the driver. Rocks on the skull dont help anything. Just my 2 cents worth

: ), yes I considered that but given that my head's full of rocks anyway, probably a case of coals to Newcastle. Speaking of loaders, we reinstalled the tuned-up Wico magneto on to the HT4 yesterday, fired it up, adjusted the steering so that it steers both ways, and moved some dirt around. Really needs new clutches and brakes but that's next winter's project after building a shed over it.
For the Teale, I'll be surprised if those rams don't leak so I've already figured in putting in new rods and seals
Cheers,

Hi, Grantj.
That loader won't lift anywhere near high enough to replenish the rocks in Neil's head if he remains in the seat. The lift ram stroke and the loader geometry won't allow it to lift high enough and far enough back for that. He might manage to drop some material on the radiator and/or the hood and I suspect that somebody put that screen in the front of the canopy to stop any of that bouncing into the operator station.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
