I watched the video to repair a stuck steering wheel; however, I'm not able to drag the machine around as suggested in the video. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

You may have us scratching our heads on the steering wheel portion of your question, do you mean a steering clutch? Or one of the tracks not releasing? Does the D2 run?

Couple of options;
- tighten up the adjustment and then pull the lever to see if that will release the clutch
- disassemble the steering clutch and separate the disks manually

Was this not a question from a new member seeking advice? (Did I miss something and read this wrong?)
Where would you go with a Caterpillar question?
The club has been through some very tumultuous times, struggling to retain members and gain new ones.
The very existance hinges upon the mutual interest in the machines and sharing knowledge and practices with others.
Let us not lose sight of that common thread and goal, helping one another pursue our addiction/affliction to the Caterpillar Tractor and equipment.
Now on the lighter side (in good humor)
Rome K/G, would you please video your methods and procedures of installing those Cletrac Steering Clutches in the functional drive train of a Caterpillar D2.
I am relatively certain it would be most informative and at minimum entertaining.
Stay Safe Everyone!
