An appeal from the President

One of my objectives is to broaden the appeal of the Club and by doing that, gain membership. Recently we have been paying a lot more attention to our social media accounts, and Deebo has done a great job with Facebook and Instagram. We have over the last few days re-booted the YouTube Channel -as you can see through my posts.

What I need your help with is this: The more subscribers to any of these platforms, the more attention our content, and our club get. This is a good thing. I'll ask that you take a few minutes and go to the Channel - Right Here - and hit the subscribe button. While you are there, watch and like and comment on the videos, all these things prompt YouTube to "spread the word" for us.

We are at 42 subscribers as of this post, let's get to 100 by the end of the week and 200 by the end of next week - I'll keep you posted!

Thank you for supporting the club.

Kurt

I think it is a great way to support the club. Good content, a good way to communicate with the members, and its free.

Fantastic idea of posting YouTube videos. Surprisingly, many of the same folks that rarely use a computer, tablet or smartphone are telling me they are watching the videos now, instead of the TV. Great job keep them coming. JM

Here's a quickie - an unusual D4
We're at 101 subs - good work, but we can do better! How about 19 of you that see this subscribe today and get us to 120 by end of day. You've worked a lot harder than this, it's a cake walk.

Hi, Folks.
I got to talking to a man about that D4, appears it was modified to work onna tomato farm and that those tracks robbed it of some 'grunt'. I suspect that King of Obsolete would say that it was "wearing' its high heels" but higher than any ice caulks he's ever used. Cain't help wondering how it would perform with normal track plates and a dozer blade with that 8-roller track frame.

The equaliser 'sproing' is still there but there is a frame under the front which appears to stop track oscillation.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Those elevated crawlers were meant mainly for spraying 60" tomato beds, and often too light in front for the back end for three point implements. You can see the tank brackets on the sides of the track frames. I have a pair of CASE 350B units with SWECO 3 point hitches set up for spraying when wet (usually springtime prior to planting). Mine are not elevated however, they only have the high heels for a little ground clearance.
I want to find a photo of the D6 with reversed tool bar set up for cultivation. The operator sat on a platform above the radiator.
The man you spoke to with the Mullet? His grandmother was "Cookie", heiress to the BEST fortune!!! Johnny B. himself!!! Great family. JM

I don't want to be accused of heresy, but I like 350B's, I might own one.

I should change my handle to "Like and Subscribe" hehehe
