This amazing plough with one wheel and one track is in preservation in the Eemsland Moormuseum in North West Germany. It could cut a furrow up to approx. 2 metres deep.
Such deep ploughing was used for soil mixing in reclaimed land.
I was fortunate enough to visit the museum a few years ago but have only just found the videos.

Enjoy !

Good find John. Looks like the operator was able to steer the plough and probably adjust the depth, judging by the # of hydraulic pipes on it. Does the museum ever give it a run occasionally?

Cheers,

I do not think the museum uses the plough, it is a static exhibit inside a nice new glass building with walkways around so you can appreciate it.
I can’t remember which functions are hydraulic, possibly depth. It has it’s own engine to power the hydraulics. It is definitely a one of a kind.
