A few years ago I looked after a 3 x 769B/C trucks, the oldest went the quickest uphill it would put out a small puff of black when straight to full noise loaded or not and would hold second on the ramp, the later B would blow clouds of smoke all day just breathing on the throttle just hold second but would change back to first if a full load, I adjusted AF back to make small clouds only, the C would puff like the early B model and go like the later B model, AF does the same job as the limiter, the 3 trucks were owned by same company from new and definitely got no maintenance from dealers door, all built the same but went completely different to each other, the C was the fastest but could not climb the like the old B that had high sides on the body, maybe load factor had something to do with it?

Hi, Busso20.
Wouldn't be the first time that I have noticed some fairly considerable variations in performance between machines of the same make and model.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
