Our D2 was originally an Auger Boring machine

When we first bought the used machine in the early 70's it had the auger on it. We took it off and the frame and found a dozer for it that we mounted later.
Here are some brochures that seem to be the same type that was on it.

Thanks for posting, do you still have the auger attachment or know where it is? That would be a great display item for shows, especially if it was in operable condition

Cheers,

I think I know where it is (maybe). My parents had some land that the dozer was originally at, and when I was young they bought the D2 [It was a CN rail used machine] via a friend (who was a diesel mechanic for the city of Toronto) . I helped him at the time ( 1970?) remove the auger, frame [side or rear seat if I remember] etc. at that location in a bush area of the land. It may still be there and I will check (not too far from where I currently live).
