I guess I should have mentioned, there is room to park RVs, (no hook-ups) or pitch tents or sleep in the back of your truck if you want, it looks the weather is going to be nice. There are 300 acres out back that is home to cows and coyotes if you really want to rough it.
If you just need a place to throw a bedroll, I have a RV on site and I don't think the mice will mind...
Get your reservations while you can!!

Carl,
Is it a one

Mike,
Do you have a pull scraper for the 8?

Well Glen officially it's one day, but our very closest friends are welcome to stay over and play a little more.* We have as much dirt as you care to move, until you pop out of the ground in China! But seriously in our work area we have about an 8 or 9 foot cut and a 7 foot fill, which will leave one acre flat. There is also an optional canyon to fill.
*This includes you

How is the dirt in your area? Potatoe Dirt;) or Rock:eek: ? Do we have water supply?
Anyone bringing a 4x4 for compaction? I can't wait.

Glen, no can for the D8. I find it to be much funner pushing them than getting a kink in the neck pulling them.

Glen the dirt is native dark clay. I will scarify and pre-water for a couple days, and there will be a water truck on-site.
There is an old sheepsfoot in the weeds a few blocks away, looks like it hasn't moved in years. I have left notes in the mailbox offering to buy it, but no calls

Carl,
It sounds like you got a good game plan. Count me in. I am thinking about maybe a couple of truck loads of equipment:p . Long haul, but it sounds like fun. Is Garlic Pete coming?
I can't wait to have fun. I can help with grade checking.

That's awesome, Glen, thanks. There are rumors of Garlic Pete bringing his DW-10, but nothing confirmed yet....

Hey Glen, I was going to head out of Bakersfield sometime Friday morning to Carl's with the D8. Do you want to meet some where on the grape vine and fallow me in? They have a truck curfew from 6am-9am and 3pm-6pm and I don't have any lights for my wide load. So I have to get down there close to 3pm. Mike
