Warming up the 5U

Had a patch of stubble I had left last fall to drive on at edge of field.  Couldn't stand it any longer and had to get out the D2 and the 3 bottom and turn it over, still too wet for spring work but had some fun.

There ya go torturing some of us HAH !!! Too wet here to do anything, as it is a muddy mess. I did manage to move a few trailers aside in the yard, and rather than spray some of the weeds that have begun to emerge, I used my trusty Marvin Multi Purpose scraper to shave them off, and smooth out the base/drain rock here.
Your cute little tractor is happy too, getting a workout. That fresh air does wonders.
Hope to see more photos, big thanks for sharing! JM

Hey thanks, I had to leave a spot for my son since hes off for spring break next week just in time for another snow storm, luckily they are short lived. By the way I named myself the plowing champion for my event, not bad for the only entry! LOL

Winner winner! When it eventually dries up here, my spring ritual is to disk weeds down on some of our vacant lots. Always fun to have ex farmer neighbors cruise back and forth watching, and wondering what I will bring out to "play" with next. Moms home place is surrounded by housing now; Its funny to fire off a pony and watch the fence line, as I will see heads pop up like weasels looking for the sound. Those guys know what that sound is! I should set up a tent here, because several of them show up at once to shoot the bull; It takes some prodding sometimes, but eventually some will climb aboard a tractor and get it out of their system. I should charge for rides. Hahahah. JM
