Some more video of harvesting in days gone by. There is a short clip at around 2.40 of what appears to be a mowing/swathing method that I yain't seen before with a Cat Thirty PUSHING a swather.
And some roads from 1949 - are they any better now?

Really neat videos Deas. The swather in the one section pushed by the Cat is what we called a header" here on the plains. Appears to be a converted one from horses and added the Cat at the rear end. I have an old IHC header in my junk pile made to be pushed by 4 horses. Neat to see the trap shooting too.
