I was curious as I do not have a service manual but how would one go about testing glow plugs to determine if they are working?

Would anybody have the current cat pn for D2 Glow plugs?

Thank you

Thank you for the current 3H2033 part number.

Would checking of the glow plug be just a current draw measurement and what might be the expected range if current measurement is the way to test?

Thank you

I believe it's 4-6 amps per plug. About 5 amps.

you do a resistance test so set for ohms 2k range setting is just fine. they should all be fairly even with each other and the reading will change with temp/time

you can also run power to them and use a clamp meter to read the current draw. same thing they should be fairly even.
