It looks like Auto-Lec out of Texas sells a kit that has the adapter, but I do know if they will sell it separately.

Past: 22 Wide Gauge w/Cable Blade, D25U, D45T w/Bucyrus Erie straight blade, D45T Orchard, D45T w/Cat straight blade.

Auto-Lec does sell the alternator/adapter separate but that's not the issue as I'm pretty sure they are not the manufacturer. Still looking for who actually builds them.

Canevari Bros Auto Electric and AIM are both in Woodland,Ca. Just speculation on my part but Canevari may have sourced the adapters straight from AIM. Canevari Bros are still in woodland and a call to them may answer the sourcing question. Juiceman and I were talking about Canevari today and were uncertain if the guys that did a lot of the old Cat work are still there or may have retired.

Seems we're doing a good job of bringing up the history but someone has picked up production currently, just wondering who that might be. Keep digging boys I sense we're getting close. Thanks.

if you had one to copy no reason you couldnt cast one out of alluminium much easier to do the cast iron. and much more in the reach of the home hobbyist. but any foundry could cast them if you had a pattern to make the mould.
