I've seen some mis-information getting put out on a Facebook forum in regards to the show at Santa Margarita Ranch. I thought it would be worthwhile to make a post to help you know what the real-deal is.

First, the show is happening, ACMOC will have a tent, things for sale, a banquet, and the chance for members to get together, shoot the breeze and meet up. The full details are in the magazine which can be accessed online as well as the one you receive. On the same forum there is scuttlebutt that ACMOC is "getting away from shows", "Going broke", not that I know of, and I'd think I'd know! How shows are organized may well change, that is yet to be defined, but there are no discussions of ending shows. As far as going broke, we publish our financial statements every quarter for all members to see, take a look at the last magazine and make up your own mind in that regard. From my perspective were doing ok, not great, but certainly not going broke.

I have attempted to reply to each of the items on that page, I'd like to see these things cleared up rather than take on a life of their own, but all my comments are "pending approval", I'm sure they'll get around to it sometime, not sure how active they are there.
