D4 7J fuel in oil was created by Dford
Hi guys

I’m having trouble with diesel going into the engine oil on my D4 7j. I have re sealed the transfer pump and was wondering if there is any other way it could get in there?

cheers Dan

Hi Dford,
You will find an o ring 8B4967 between the injection pump and filter housing has failed and you will need to change it, and while you are in there also change the seal 4B4865 (1H5959 new number) in the filter housing.
When you pull the o ring out it will look like a triangle o ring but it is not it is round.

Thanks Daryl

I thought there must had been more to it as the transfer pump didn’t look that bad. I can’t wait to get in there for a further inspection your help is much appreciated.
