Caterpillar Thirty(s)

I had a Caterpillar Thirty - "tail seat" (sidewinder) orchard type.  It was Standard Gauge.
Going through some of my photos - I began looking at this set -  a Thirty but certainly not much the same as on the S8345 I had.

How many obvious differences are easily seen between those different years.  Some similarities but so many changes too!

These photos are of a Wide Gauge -  what a well kept machine!   Placed on Display for all passersby to see. (at least when I took the photos)

Sorry - pic of the thirty in the shed is not very good - still you should be able to see many differences besides being a Cruiser and Tail-seat machines.

Where to begin --
Radiator mounts, Water Pump, Crankcase Side Plates, Push rod tubes - Cylinders, Heads, Valve Covers, Air cleaner, Wire Harness protection, and the list goes on!

I imagine parts for this one would be a bit more difficult to obtain.

Evolution?
Just a few notable differences as time moved forward.
