Couple of pictures of Cat-Gen Set at Chama, NM
Photos from 5-2014
Most probably from a GE locomotive - this is still a Steam Rail Road - operates on original D&RG Narrow Gauge between Chama, NM and Antonito, CO
They do operate a couple of diesel-electric locomotives for maintenance uses. I am not sure of the power in those units.

Hi, CTS.
To my untrained eye, that looks suspiciously like a D17000 block and pots - could have been anything from about 170 HP on up to maybe 240 - 250.
