Hi, Folks.
Club motto???????????
"WE, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, have been doing so much with so little for so long that we are now qualified to do absolutely anything with nothing. The impossible, we do immediately. Miracles by order only."
I have (only) been carting that one around in my head for about the last 50 years - never forgotten it.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

the definition of insanity keep doing the same thing expecting a different result.
the satisfaction of low prices fades long before the disappointment of poor quality
the tight arse pays twice.
you can have 3 kinds of jobs cheap, quick or good pick 2
a good job cheap wont be quick, a quick good job wont be cheap and a quick cheap job wont be good.
when the wife harps on about a job "you cant rush good work" dont worry i'llgetaroundtoit
are we working hard or hardly working?
she'll do were not building sheep stations/ taj mahall
a favourite of mine "a blind m,an on a galloping horse wouldn't see that!"
when someone want to know something "don't ask me i just work here"
ruff nuts engineering swearing is part of the service.
"busted knuckles garage we swear because we care"

Hello Deas, that's a good one. Unfortunately the one I remember from my youth is:
"My job is not to run this train, they won't even let me ring the bell, but if she should jump the track just see who catches hell!!"

Hi, seiscat.
Sounds about like most of my working life, especially since I started op'rating. not so much that I was the one catching hell but I was often the one who had to go fix it - and from a pretty young age - and often away from the rest of the crew - maybe they just wanted to get rid of me.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Hi, Josh.
I take my hat off to you, Sir. You are a real SURVIVOR, I wasn't even around in 1928 to remember that.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

few years back seen a sticker on a piece of heavy equipment, it had a Large hammer on it and underneath it said.."Fixing Stupid One Smack at a Time"..
always dropping GOLD, all you have to do is just pick it UP !
