Thanks for sharing, nice looking D7 but it looks like a 7M D7 rather than a 9G to me.

Hi, Gauntjoh.
The same thought had occurred to me 'coz the 9G had the elephant ears firewall and the square hood, all same the D8s of the time. The 7M was the first of the rounded hoods.

Didn't figure it mattered much though 'coz the post seemed to be more about the Kay-Brunner blades.

Thanks for catching my mistake. I should have caught that. I found that paper in the same stack I discovered the S/N of the first Caterpillar he owned, 9G 6610W.
