i forgot to mention to fill it with water or flow shielding gas into it. you can even use the exhuast fumes from a engine if you have a diesel as the carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide in the exhuast wont support combustion. just do it outside as it wont support life either.

Actually the father of the welder mentioned running the welders exhaust into it for 15 or 20 minutes. That is a lot easier than getting an Argon or CO2 tank to remove the oxygen. Rain off and on for a week so not much will get done. Thanks all for the advice. Grant.
