I think I see RE-BAR --- just maybe the load was too heavy for the lid on that special tank?
That "material" left in the seat, belongs below the tracks!

The interesting part of this story would be the efforts to retrieve that machine, no small chore.

Hi, CTS.
Can you just imagine the 'fun' that you could have trying to DRIVE that rig outa there?????????????

And, from the looks of that site, another 'kwestyun' might be, "Where is the nearest crane capable of helping out?"

Just my 0.02.

It helps to know when your stuck, and stop working it deeper. Only 2 times have my Cats been anywhere close to that, BUT most of what I farmed was adobe so you where out of traction but not sunk. One was old guy helping that had been bogged before. He stopped and we could push a 1 inch cable from the front under the old RD 7 to the drawbar. But another few seconds of clawing would of looked like above. The other time was dad insisted I put the D6 in the creek and wallow around in mud hole.

But did have of the OH HE!! moments working in tail weeds way higher than the radiator discing for a vineyard that had dug soil test pits with a backhoe and never filled them in. On a good slope running on the contour and the front of the D6 dips way down. Could not back out, but realized that was pulling dirt in under the tracks. So a bit of back and forth and I got out without help. But did have a bit to say about digging trenches and leaving them for years.
