Road trip yard sale adventure

I found a couple of Hensley clamp on ripper shanks offered, so a buddy and soon to be CAT collector decided we needed to take a road trip!
11 hours later I got home with a pair of clamp on shanks, sprockets 4F6068 which I don’t show in my D7 books, and lastly, the cheapest yet most sought after part I’ve been looking for which has eluded me; the filler panel that goes beneath the fuel tank for my D7 3T!
Are the shanks blade specific or one size works on all, as long as you can make it grip? One is incomplete, but a new turnbuckle can be made easy enough.
What about the sprockets? No match in my parts books;
I think I saw a 4F6069 listed, not 4F6068 what’s the difference?
I am most excited about the $5.00 panel I bought!!!

4F6068 is probably the casting number for the sprocket, part of sprocket assembly 4F6069.

Hi, Juiceman.
Some nice catches there. Congrats on finding that D7 panel. LOTTTSA them got thrown away 'coz people got tired of removing and replacing them for servicing.

Somehow, I don't quite see those ripper shanks being a lottta use for your average D2, maybe upscale a bit?

Also. thank you for stepping up for the BoD. Have fun.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Thank you Josh. It will go in my parts stash for future use. Man, they are heavy! I was hoping they were for my D6 that is in need of a sprocket. Oh well...
Deas: Just guessing the original owner had them snugged up to a D-7, since that was the only tin I saw laying around. I almost skipped the panel, because I thought it was for a U series D-6, but the ports for the grease zerks puzzled me. Best $5.00 I ever spent for anything. Your 2023 guests from PA will likely want to fit one the the D-8 parked at your ranch. Heck, maybe I can make a mailbox stand from one!
Thanks for the words of encouragement. My phone is on for anyone that has anything to say, whether positive or not. I wish to put my available energy into good things for the club; I am realizing how much work it can be, but it was my time to pay it forward so to speak. I wish to see everyone being friendly towards each other again and all having big fun. JM
