=19.5pxDecided that this old girl was worth the effort to put back into operation.  D8 1H8426, 1941. LeTourneau CCU and pad. Push pad not on.
Step one - out of the weeds
Thanks to a couple of friends she is out of the weeds, rolling and ready for a lot of work.

What an awesome looking machine. I definitely want to see photos of your progress and the first start video. That rusty patina is excellent

Cheers,

Hi, rustrunner.
To quote the immortal Swishy, "That should all buff right out." Hopefully, the slow boats to China will miss out on another one.

Thanks for the photo.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Good luck! I have been trying to get my 1H back to running but with a full time job its hard to get the time in needed. currently fighting the pony and when I do get it started again I have to deal with a stuck right steering clutch. Yours looks like its starting in better shape.

Good luck on yours Brian.
This one has been sitting for a long time, and as of now not sure of all the issues, but is a nice straight tractor and not all beat up. Hope to pick it up on Nov 12th or 19th, my trucker has been busy getting corn harvested.
First order of business this week is to get a case of PB Blaster.

Deas Plant:
If you look at the 4th picture, way in the distance on the right hand side you will see another nice big crawler that we are also trying to keep from going on the slow boat to china.

Hi, rustrunner.
Hope you can swing it. As much as the newer ones are nicer to operate, there izza certain charm to these old girls with their big, slow-bangin' motors and being able to look back atta day's work and say, "WE did that." Back in their day, if you were running wunna them, you were pretty much king of all you surveyed.
