I have finally finished installing one new head and 2th head returned fro machine shop with new exhaust valves springs guide and head planned also installed. Started the Cat and had water manifold leak and radiator flange leak. Shut it down and drained oil and changed filter. Remove water manifold and replaced cap bolts with studs and stopped the leak.
Ran it and run like a new crawler checked oil and had water in it, bummer. I read a plugged weep hole water pump could cause it. I was wondering if the leaking water manifold could also cause it?
My next plan will be to crack the oil drain plug and see how much water is actually there. Leave the plug out and pressurize the water system
What suggestions and actions do you recommend?
Where is water pump weep hole? Thank you for your assistance John

Might have a coolant seal and ferrule that got damaged when setting the heads on. The weep hole is under the water pump between the housing and front cover. Looks more like a slot, 1/4" wide n 1" long. Also liner seal could be leaking or pin hole in liner, or prechamber not seated.

Thank you Rome K/G. I used a mobil CAT tech for setting the heads and was very careful. I did not trust using my loader and chain fall so hired Cat tech. The old heads had no water in oil and had several cracks that went from injector to exhaust valve and all the way up into the head; making it junk. Bought new head from California's Florin Cat and had the put all new parts in the head. The other head was magfluxed and had no damage but I sent it to Machine shop for complete head job. All 4 prechambers were replaced with new ones and torqued to specs. Radiator was so bad that it was unrepairable. New radiator was $5000. I had the sleeves checked by Cat tech and all 4 cylinders were in specs.
Thank you for sharing the weep hole location.
I was also told a bad water pump would do the same thing. Is there a source for Cat water pumps? John

Florin may have a pump. they are rebuildable, not much to them.

I'm just guessing, but it sounds like you don't have a long history with the tractor if you're looking at the water pump as the culprit for the water in the oil?

If that's the case, then that new radiator is maintaining more pressure now than the old leaking one. It could be pushing past a liner seal. Maybe the tractor has sat for a long time and they dried out?

Oil cooler is another entry point.

After all the drama in my transmission after a cracked cooler tube, I would most certainly be testing that oil cooler and put it high on the list! I don't recall how that cooler assembles, but if you can get the oil lines off without removing the cooler, you are home free! You can simply observe for water, or pressurize the oil ports to the cooler and see if you get air in the radiator.

My trans cooler was super obvious.

++  I checked mine and appears you can get the oil lines off the cooler pretty easy.  Don't drop the Orings or you will be fishing.  5psi in there would probably tell the story.
