Haha a large scale valve grinding compound factory. I always wonder how they made that stuff. But how do they collect it for bottling

I knew a guy that had an apple orchard near me. He had an Oliver OC6 bought brand new that he always oiled his tracks.
I was surprised how like brand new but messy his tracks were . His orchard was totally grass covered but on a steep hill and all he ever did with it was pull his sprayer and mower.

side-seat, how did the tracks fare in those conditions? Did they wear out faster as one would expect? I could imagine a scenario where the tractor only ever ran around on fresh, green grass and the wear wasn't excessive due to a lack of grit and dust, but that would be a rare scenario I think

Cheers,

For the folks that constantly holler "that guy needs to grease his machine". Had a concrete form carpenter tell me my dozer tracks were worn out because he heard them squeak. Running Deere's extended life bottom to this day, original to the machine 1500ish hours later. Guess I better get a jug of that Shell branded recycled track lube...
